Unidentified miscreants vandalized a Shahid Minar on Mohendrapur Secondary School premises at Jagannathpur union in Kumarkhali upazila on Thursday midnight.
Kumarkhali police station Officer-in-Charge Lutfur Rahman confirmed the vandalism incident to the Dhaka Tribune.
"The Shahid Minar located on Mohendrapur Secondary School premises was damaged by miscreants on Thursday night," he said.
Another Shahid Minar on Jadubaira Secondary School premises in the same upazila was damaged by miscreants early Thursday, which angered teachers, students and locals.
