The body of an unidentified young girl has been recovered from inside a luggage near the Sayedabad bus terminal early Friday.
Sayedabad police station Sub-Inspector Sobhan Sharif said a pedestrian noticed the abandoned luggage beside the railway tracks near the bus stand around 12:30am and informed police.
Later, police recovered the body from inside the luggage, he added.
He said although an injury mark on the throat of the body hinted that the girl was possibly strangled, the reason behind the death could not be confirmed before autopsy.
Police has been trying to identify the victim and her killers, said the law enforcers.
