Two activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League received stab injuries when a group of unknown miscreants snooped upon them at Buthpara area of the district town on Friday night.
The injured were identified as Ariful Islam Akash, 18, organizing secretary of north BCL unit, and Hasan Ali, 28, an activist of the unit.
The victims said a group of 8 to 10 masked men attacked them with sharp weapons at Nosirer Moor of Buthpara area when they returning back home.
The injured were rushed to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital soon after the miscreants left the scene after dumping them at the roadside.
Blaming Shibir activists for the attack, the BCL men also said they received a death threat from Shibir earlier in the afternoon.
Shamsur Nur, officer-in-charge of Motihar police, confirmed the incident to the Dhaka Tribune and said police was trying to identify the miscreants and arrest them.
No case was filed over the incident yet, OC also said.
