A person was killed and 10 others were in a clash between two groups of villagers in in Ramshankarpur under Bhairab upazila in Kishoreganj on Wednesday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Sajib Ahmed, 36.
Police and local sources said there was a longtime dispute between Bacchu Mia and Saddam Mia over land property.
Bacchu Mia and Saddam Mia sat in an arbitration in the morning.
At the stage, they locked in clashes with each other with local weapons that left 11 people injured.
Later, Sajib was rushed to Bhairab Upazilla Health Complex where the duty doctor declared him dead.
Meanwhile, Sajib’s relatives vandalised some 25 houses of the opponent and torched a few haystacks.
