Injured Chhatra Shibir activist, who was injured in a clash between Jamaat-e-Islami and Chhatra Shibir members with the police, succumbed to his injuries at a hospital in the capital early Tuesday.
The name of the deceased was Abdul Rahman.
Earlier on Sunday, around 300 to 400 villagers, including Jamaat and Shibir activists, launched an attack on the law enforcers with bows and arrows in Joypurhat.
Meanwhile, police fired rubber bullets to pacify the situation that left three Shibir activists dead and several others injured.
Later, Abdul was rushed to a Joypurhat hospital and later shifted to a hospital in Dhaka where he succumbed to his injuries early Tuesday, said family members.
