4 crude bombs exploded outside DT office

Unidentified miscreants exploded four crude bombs in front of the office of the Dhaka Tribune on Tuesday, the first day of the 48-hour blocked.

Dhaka Tribune security guard Arif said; “Some five to six unidentified miscreants exploded the crude bombs outside the office around 6:35pm and fled the scene immediately."

However, none was injured in the explosion.

Earlier on July 16, pro-hartal activists vandalised some 10 vehicles, including seven belonging to the Dhaka Tribune, in city’s Panthapath area.

They also exploded two crude bombs and left the place immediately.
