Police in an overnight drive detained 67 suspected miscreants from several places under eight upazilas of the district.
Two guns and 12 crude bombs were also seized during the operation.
Reshma Sharmin, assistant superintendent of police in Jessore, told the Dhaka Tribune, law enforcers in a special drive picked up 67 suspected miscreants and seized two guns, 12 crude bombs and some bottles of Phensidyl.
Cases have been lodged against the detainees in these connections, said the police officer.
