An explosion that occurred while making bombs injured one youth in Benapole, Jessore on Sunday.
Police said Uzzal Hossain, 25, was making bombs in his Bahadurpur house. However, any possible affiliation with political parties was not revealed.
The injured was attending treatments in a private clinic under police custody, Benapole port police Officer-in-Charge Quayum Ali Sarder said.
A case has been filed regarding the incident at the police station, he added.
