MRT Police arrested a man with 1,702 yaba pills at the Mirpur-10 metro station in the capital on Monday morning.
The detainee was identified as Jamal Molla, 35.
Raihanul Islam Ratul, a police officer on duty at the MRT control room, confirmed the matter.
Acting on a tip-off, police searched Jamal around 11am and recovered the yaba pills from his possession.
Legal action has been taken against him.
