Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested 110 people during special operations in the Tejgaon, Hazaribagh and Sher-e-Bangla Nagar police station areas as part of its ongoing anti-crime drive in the capital.
According to police, 82 suspects involved in various criminal activities were arrested during regular operations carried out in different crime-prone areas under the Tejgaon Division on Wednesday.
In separate drives, members of police of Hazaribagh Police Station arrested 15 suspects during a special operation in its jurisdiction on Thursday while Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Police Station arrested 13 suspects in a similar operation on Wednesday.
Police said all those arrested were involved in various criminal offences. They have been produced before the respective courts for legal proceedings.
The special operations are part of DMP's continued efforts to maintain law and order and strengthen public safety across the capital.
