Rab personnel arrested four men linked to the banned militant outfit Harkat-ul Jihad and seized a huge amount of explosives and jihadi publications from them.
Those held were Khalilur Rahman, 26, Mohammad Sharifuzzaman, 27, Abdul Kader, 50, and Maksudur Rahman, 27.
Rab spokesperson ATM Habibur Rahman said they were detained in separate raids conducted in Ashulia and Abdullahpur, Uttara, on Sunday night.
He said the detainees were all active members of the banned outfit and were on the run. “They are accused in several different cases.”
Details will be revealed later at a press briefing at the Rab headquarters on Monday 3pm, he said.
