Sub-Inspector of Chakrabarty outpost Harun-Or-Rashid told the Dhaka Tribune that police recovered the body of Md Shahin 28, owner of a construction materials shop, on Thursday morning.
The SI said a gang of miscreants attacked Shahin near Mother Textiles factory while he was returning home shutting down his shop around 9pm.
Police said he might have been killed over previous rivalry.
