10 fake job providers held in Dhaka

Members of Rapid Action Battalion have detained 10 frauds of a gang of fake jobs providers from the capital’s Uttara on Monday. Legal and Media Wing Director of the elite force Mufti Mahmud Khan told the Dhaka Tribune that a team of RAB 2, acting on a tip-off, detained them from Hasan Mahmud Complex located at Shah Kabir Majhar Road near Azampur of Uttara. The details of the detainees could not be known immediately. A good number of victims were also rescued from the captivity of the detainees, said the RAB official. Details regarding the incident will be disclosed at a press briefing later in the day, he added.
