A case was filed on Tuesday night against 16 activists of Islami Chhatra Shibir on charge of attacking a leader of MC College unit of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL).
Aftab Ali, father of victim Mustafizur Rahman Rob, filed the case against nine named and six unknown Shibir men with Kotwali police station, said officer-in-charge of Ahmed Nasir Uddin Mohammad.
The accused include MC College unit former Shibir president Yeasin Khan, its activist Haris Ali and Tofail Ahmed. On Sunday night, a group of Shibir men attacked BCL leader Rob at Sobhanighat in the city , leaving him injured.
