Two Bangladeshi-born American passport holders have been arrested at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport with $100,000.
They were carrying the dollars without any endorsement.
The detained passengers were identified as Md Rezaul Karim Khan and Md Jashim Uddin Khan. They were supposed to go to the United States on Friday on a flight of Qatar Airlines (QR 641).
A team of customs officials seized the dollar from two passengers when they were scheduled to leave Dhaka airport on the flight, according to airport sources.
A case was filed on Friday night.They are currently in the custody of the airport police station.
