Members of the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) recovered 500 grams of heroin from a bus at Bhangbaria bus stand in Alamdanga upazila, Chuadanga yesterday.
Major Nahid, general staff officer (GSO) of BGB’s Kushtia sector, said a BGB team conducted a drive in the area and recovered heroin worth Tk5,000,000 from a district town-bound bus on a tip-off. BGB detained two drivers, a supervisor and a helper, but released them after they were quizzed.
