The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) on Friday arrested a man in the capital in connection with the death of actor Humaira Himu.
The arrestee is Himu’s friend Md Ziauddin Alias Rufi, RAB Legal and Media Wing Director Commander Khandaker Al-Moin confirmed.
He said: “Md Ziauddin alias Rufi’s relation to Himu's death is being investigated. He is being interrogated.”
The details will be revealed at a press conference in the afternoon, said the RAB official.
Humaira Himu was found hanging in her apartment on Thursday. She was known for roles in TV shows like "Bari Bari Sari Sari" and the film "Amar Bondhu Rashed." The entertainment world and her fans are in disbelief over her sudden passing.
