According to the case, a document with the prime minister's decision on the three-man Education Ministry short list for the post of NSU treasurer was stolen from the PMO.

PMO staffer Fatema stole the document and gave it to Farhad in front of PMO Gate No 4 on March 1, 2020, upon the instructions of Chhatra League leader Toriqul in exchange for Tk20,000 on bKash for this purpose.

The forged document was then submitted to the president's office for approval on March 3, according to the charge sheet, misrepresenting the PM's decision on who should be the treasurer.
