In two separate incidents, unidentified miscreants killed two persons in Bogra on Thursday night.
Bipul, who was a resident of Bogra town, was hacked to death by kidnappers after his family did not pay up the demanded Tk 300,000 ransom, local police said.
His body was found lying beside a railway track in the town, Bogra Sadar police’s Sub-Inspector Lal Mia said.
Meanwhile, Jakir Hossain, a leather trader of Sabgram area, was killed by unidentified criminals.
Police made no arrests tied to these incidents until 3pm today.
