An ethnic girl, who worked as a domestic help at a house in Dhaka's Moghbazar area, has allegedly been raped by her employer.
The victim, 18, filed a case in this regard with Hatirjheel police station on Monday, Sub-inspector (SI) Abdur Rouf said.
The victim, who hailed from Bandarban, was sent to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital for examination, he said.
“She had been working in the house of Lutfur Rahman Jong, 40, for last one year. Lutfur had been violating her for the last three months and barred her to go out of the house,” the police official said.
“Lutfur is on the run,” he added.
