Yaba worth Tk11cr seized in Cox's Bazar

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has seized 70,000 pieces of contraband yaba tablets worth Tk11.10 crore from Teknaf upazila of Cox’s Bazar district. Teknaf’s BGB Battalion 2 Commander Lt Col Abuzar Al Zahid said BGB team conducted a drive in Mondol Para area under the upazila around 8am on Wednesday. “Sensing our presence the smugglers fled the scene, afterwards we searched the area and found a sack full of yaba tablets,” Abuzar added
