Four New JMB militants held in Dhaka

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has detained four members of a new faction of banned militant outfit Jama’atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (New JMB) from Dhaka’s Dohar area. According to RAB, they belong to JMB’s Tamim Ahmed Chowdhury and Sarwar Jahan faction. RAB Legal and Media Wing's Senior Assistant Director Mizanur Rahman Bhuiyan confirmed the matter to the Dhaka Tribune Wednesday. He said the militants were held on Tuesday night. Details regarding the drive would be briefed later in the day, he added.
