Members of the Detective Branch (DB) of police have detained the ex-husband of Jamuna Bank official Arifun Nesa Arifa over the murder from Dhanbari, Tangail.
DMP’s Additional Deputy Commissioner (media) Md Yusuf Ali told the Dhaka Tribune: “Robin Khan, who is the prime accused in the case, was detained early Friday.”
The bank official was found bleeding from a head wound in the garage of her residence on Central Road on March 16. She was declared dead when taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

On the same day, the law enforcers found a CCTV footage showing the 27-year-old banker entering her building with her ex-husband.
Later, a case was lodged against Robin with Dhanmondi police station.
A press conference will be held at DMP media cell around 2pm.
