However, the Bill of Entry and other papers were found to have been forgeries. In addition, the registration papers described the car as white, whereas the seized vehicle is black. The customs intelligence had sent a notice to Moosa’s Gulshan residence at 8am Tuesday morning, asking him to hand over the vehicle. However, the car had been moved to a relative’s house in Dhanmondi and then used to send his grandson to school earlier in the morning. The members of the customs intelligence task force raided the tycoon’s home in Gulshan 2 on Sunday afternoon. A number of leads tipped them off to the car’s location in Dhanmondi after his grandson was brought back home with another car. The customs team tracked down the car to an apartment building in Dhanmondi Road 6/A around 3:30pm. According to Bhola BRTA reports, the car is registered under the name of Faruquzzaman in Pabna. Intelligence sources confirmed the car was for Moosa's personal use. DG Moinul said customs will file a money laundering case as per regulation. Moosa Bin Shamsher is the owner of Datco, a company specialising in exporting manpower, but reports have often claimed the source of his wealth is international arms trading. In November 2014, he appeared before the Anti-Corruption Commission to explain his claims of having $7b frozen in a Swiss bank account, which was refuted by the Swiss National Bank.
