The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) on Wednesday arrested a man impersonating a policeman from Dhaka’s Jatrabari area.
The elite force arrested Kayes Ahmed Rabbi, 25, along with a police uniform and a walkie-talkie set.
RAB 10 confirmed the incident through a press release signed by Commanding Officer Kaiumuzzaman Khan.
“Acting on a tip-off, a team of RAB 10 conducted a raid at a house in the Jatrabari Ideal School and College area on Wednesday around 2:40pm and arrested Kayes,” said press released.
Upon primary interrogation, RAB learned that Kayes is a member of a fraud gang, which intimidates and cons people by impersonating policemen.
