Police detain two men with arms and ammo

Police have detained two men in possession of arms and ammunition from the Mohakhali Dakshin Para area of Dhaka. "Acting on a tip-off, we raided the residence of the detainees on Wednesday around 9pm," said Dhaka Metropolitan Police Assistant Deputy Commission (Media) Yusuf Ali said. The detainees are Lenardo Dip Hawladar from Madaripur district, 22, and Md Billal from Jamalpur district. "We seized a pistol, revolver, three rounds of bullets, four rounds of cartridges and a magazine," Yusuf added. A case has been filed against the detainees.
