Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has detained three drug dealers, including a female, with 10,000 yaba pills.
The detainees are Nurul Amin, 24, Abdul Karim, 48, and Halima Begum Runa, 36.
RAB 10 Additional Superintendent of Police Mohiuddin Faruki confirmed the matter, saying: “Acting on a tip-off, a team of RAB 10 conducted a raid in the Bosila area of Mohammadpur in Dhaka on Sunday night. The trio was detained during the drive.”
RAB also recovered Tk2.3 lakh cash, which was in their possession, he said.
Mohiuddin also said legal action is being taken against the suspects.
