Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in an overnight drive have arrested five members of an international smuggling gang along with more than 43kg gold from an area in Sadar upazila of Manikganj.
RAB 2 on early hours of Thursday, conducted the drive and arrested the gang members, reported UNB.
Assistant Superintendent of Police (media) of RAB headquarters Mizanur Rahman has confirmed the news.
The details about the drive will be disclosed at a press briefing at 5pm Thursday.
