Police claim to have identified the people involved in the murder of former Gaibandha-1 ruling Awami League MP Manjurul Islam Liton.
“We have identified the three killers, who came to the scene and fled by motorbike, and have them under surveillance,” police Chief AKM Shahidul Hoque said at a programme in Savar on Monday.
“They will be arrested and produced before the media soon,” the IGP added.
MP Liton was shot dead at his village home in Sundarganj’s Masterpara on December 31 last year.
