A mobile court, run by Rapid Action Battalion-3 (RAB), has sentenced two people to one year of simple imprisonment on charges of hijacking in Dhaka.
The court immediately sentenced the duo during a Pohela Boishakh celebration program at the capital’s Suhrawardy Udyan where they were apprehended on Saturday.
RAB Director (Legal and Media Wing) Mufti Mahmud Khan has confirmed the matter.
