Teacher held for allegedly trying to rape minor student in Lakshmipur

Police arrested a teacher of an Islamic Foundation's mosque-based mass education centre in Lakshmipur’s Sadar upazila on Sunday for allegedly trying to rape a seven-year-old female student. The arrestee was identified as Abdul Jalil, a teacher of West Charmansha centre. Locals said they caught Jalil while he was trying to violate the girl and took him to Bhabanipur Union Parishad. Later, police arrested him. Police said legal action will be taken against him.
