Yaba worth Tk24 crore seized in Cox’s Bazar

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has seized 800,000 pieces of contraband yaba tablets worth Tk24 crore from Teknaf upazila in Cox’s Bazar. The tablets were seized in separate drives in Bodormokam and Jalia Palong Thursday morning. Teknaf 2 BGB Commander Lt Col Abuzar Al Jahid said the smugglers fled leaving behind the yaba tablets when the BGB approached the areas.
