College student stabbed to death in Dhaka

Unidentified miscreants stabbed a college student to death in Laxmibazar area in the capital on Thursday. The deceased was identified as Md Ranak, 18, son of Shahid, a student of class XII of New Paltan Line School and College and resident of Nilambar Saha Road, Hazaribagh. A group of miscreants attacked Ranak at noon and stabbed him on the left thigh, leaving him critically injured, said Babu Miah, assistant sub-inspector of Dhaka Medical College Hospital police outpost. He was rushed to the hospital where doctors declared him dead.
