A team of Dhaka Metropolitan Police officers raided 18 residential hotels in Mohammadpur, Adabor, Shyamoli, and Sher-e-Bangla Nagar areas on Tuesday afternoon.
The raid, conducted from 4pm to 6:30pm, led to eight hotels being shut down and their managers taken away for questioning.
