Md Robin Hasan Ali, 17, was one of the three militants killed by Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) during an anti-militancy operation in Dhaka’s Nakhalpara on January 12.
Golam Mustafa, another brother of Robin, contacted RAB's Law and Media Division after pictures of the killed militants were published in the media.

According to locals, Robin disappeared on January 7 with Tk5,000 in cash from his own shop. Robin's brother Golam filed a general diary with Nakla police station on January 20.
Nakla Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Khan Abdul Halim Siddiqui has confirmed the information.
According to Robin's relatives, he is the son of late Fazar Uddin of Kurshabadagoir village from Sherpur’s Nakla municipality. Robin was the youngest among four siblings. He started a rice business with his brother Golam after the death of their father in a road accident in 2013.
Nakla Municipality Mayor Abdul Awal Selim also expressed his frustration at how someone like Robin could get involved with militancy.
On Sunday, brother Golam went to Dhaka's Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital morgue and identified his body.
