Massive bust of pornographic CDs in Narayanganj

The team seized 16 computers and a large number of pirated, pornographic CDs from their possession. The arrestees are Md Anik Hossen, 19, Md Alamgir Hossen alias Sujan, 19, Al Amin, 18, Md Shuvo, 18 and Md Hasan, 18. Rab 11 Additional Superintendent of Police Naresh Chakma told reporters that responding to a tip-off, a team co-ordinating with Anti-Piracy Action team conducted a drive at the ground floor of Habib Complex near Maleh road in Narayanganj and arrested them. They also seized a large cache of memory cards and pen drives containing pornography. Anti-Piracy Action Team Coordinator Shahidul Islam Tito was also present during the drive. A case has been filed against the arrestees under the Pornography Prevention and Bangladesh Copyright Act at Narayanganj Sadar police station, the RAB official said.
