A six-year-old boy has been reportedly strangled to death by unknown miscreants at Bera upazila in Pabna.
Tamim Hossain, a first grader, was the son of Mansur Amin of Khakchhora village.
His body was recovered from near the family’s house in the village on Thursday morning, said Bera police station OC Mozaffar Hossain.
He said Tamim had gone missing on Wednesday evening.
Saying police were taking all necessary legal steps, the OC added that they were suspecting old rivalry between families to be the reason behind the child’s murder.
