Yaba worth Tk22.5 crore seized in Cox’s Bazar

Yaba consignment worth Tk22.5 crore has been seized in Teknaf upazila of Cox’s Bazar district. Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) seized 780,000 tablets from Kutabunia area on Saturday morning. Teknaf BGB 2 Captain Lieutenant Colonel SM Ariful Islam said: “Acting on a tip-off, we conducted a drive in the area and seized the yaba tablets worth Tk22.5 crore. “The tablets have been kept at Teknaf BGB Headquarters.”
