Pran Food's worker raped in Narsingdi

A female worker has been raped by a gang of three youths on way to her workstation in Palash upazila, Narsingdi. The victim is a worker of Pran Industrial Park in the upazila. She filed a case, naming three rapists, with Palash police station on Thursday morning. Police have arrested one Shipon Miah, 19, son of Abdul Jabbar Ali of Kamartek village under Ghorashal municipality, in this connection. According to the case statement, the victim was intercepted by three youths while she was crossing Paiksha area of Ghorashal municipality on her way to Pran Industrial Park on Wednesday night. The attackers gagged the victim, took her to an isolated place and violated her one by one. At one point, as locals heard the scream of the victim and rushed to the spot and freed her. But the alleged rapists left the scene hurriedly. Palash police station Officer-in-Charge Biplob Kumar Dutt said police were trying to arrest the two other accused in the case.
