Confirming about the arrest, Uttara West police station Inspector Abdur Razzak told the Dhaka Tribune that they strongly suspect the arrestees incited the scuffle that led to the death of Adnan Kabir, 14 the day before.
Adnan was beaten to death with hockey sticks at sector 13 of Uttara by a rival group centring local dispute regarding seniority. A murder case was lodged in this connection on Friday night.
Razzak also said police were conducting drives to arrest other accomplices.
