During a raid by the Melaka police of Anti-Vice, Gambling and Secret Societies Division (D7), eight people were arrested from an apartment in Taman Kota Laksamana in Melaka at 2am. The Bangladeshis arrested did not possess any valid travel documents. Meanwhile, Melaka Tengah District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Afzanizar Ahmad confirmed the arrests and said that the suspects were remanded for 21 days, in accordance with ATIPSOM.
