Jessore Senior Judicial Magistrate Court Judge Bulbul Islam recorded the statements and ordered law enforcers to send them to prison.
The recording of the statements began at 6:30pm and continued till 10pm.
Earlier, Jessore Upasahar Sub-Inspector Abdur Rahim Howlader filed a murder case against Cheng Hesong's personal assistant Nazmul and his nephew Muktadir with Jessore Kotwali Police Station in connection with the murder of the Chinese national.
Kotwali police station OC Ilias Hossain said Cheng Hesong, 45, had been running a business selling batteries in Jessore district since 2014.
The Chinese businessman was beaten to death with an iron pipe in Jessore on Wednesday night, allegedly by his Bangladeshi assistant over an outstanding debt.
Jessore Superintendent of police Anisur Rahman said the police recovered Hesong’s body from a toilet in his warehouse on Thursday morning. They detained his 26-year-old assistant, Nazmul Hasan Parvez, and his assistant’s nephew, Muktadir Rahman, 20, over the murder.
Police Bureau of Investigation’s Additional SP Abdul Motin said Hesong’s wife flew to Jessore on Thursday morning. The aggrieved woman pounced on the suspects when they were brought to the spot.
Their driver, Washkuruni Mamun, claimed a dispute over Tk500 had led to the murder.
