A Dhaka court yesterday once again deferred the hearing on the charges framed against Awami League MP Pinu Khan’s son Bakhtiar Alam Rony in a case filed over killing of two people in New Eskaton Road of the capital.
Judge Shamsun Nahar of Second Additional Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judges’ Court fixed February 28 for the next hearing following a time petition sought by Rony’s lawyer over his sickness.
Rony was shortly produced before the court, however, as he fell sick in the court he was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for treatment.
