Dhaka Customs on Monday seized around 32kg of gold from a flight that arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport from Malaysia.
Acting on a tip-off, officials of Dhaka Customs Preventive Team boarded a Malindo Air flight coming in from Malaysia and found the gold bars taped under four seats.
The gold bars were wrapped in 14 packets, with the total weight around 32.7kg.
However, no arrest was made in connection with the incident, said Dhaka Customs Deputy Commissioner Reyadul Islam.
