The conman – Haji Alam – was picked up from Dia Bari in Dhaka’s Shah Ali area on Sunday night, RAB Legal and Media wing Assistant Director Mizanur Rahman said on Monday.
He, however, declined to divulge details about the crime and the detainee.
Mizanur said RAB would brief the media later in the day.
