The members of Rapid Action Battalion have arrested nine persons along with 25,000 pirated compact disks (CDs), yaba pills and firearms from the capital's Gulistan area.
RAB legal and media wing Assistant Director Major Maksudul Alam told the Dhaka Tribune: “A team of RAB 3 conducted the drive and picked nine persons up from Gulistan area.
“25,000 pirated CDs, a good number of yaba pills, two foreign pistols and other equipments have been recovered from their possession.”
Detail regarding the arrests will be disclosed in a press conference later in the day.
