Two separate cases, where the victims alleged rape and getting threat to release of video clips of the incidents through internet, have been filed with Fatulla model police station in Narayanganj on Thursday afternoon.
In one of the cases, a college student accused one for raping through alluring her of marriage, while in the other, a housewife accused three men of the same offense holding her child hostage.
In both the cases, the victims alleged that the offenders threatened to spread the video clips in internet after raping.
No arrests have been made so far in either of the cases.
The housewife, in her case, said she lives in Deobhog area in Fatullah with her family.
In the afternoon on December 15, she along with her child went out to search a new home to rent. Having come to see a to-let notice, she entered a house owned by one Selim. Upon entering the house, Selim, along with her two accomplices -- Sabuj and Lipu -- raped the woman, holding her son hostage.
The accused also recorded the rape on their mobile and blackmailed her for TK10,000 threatening to release the video in the internet.
In another case, the college student accused Sajjad Alam Niloy, son of Jahirul Islam of Raghunathpur, of raping her once in his friend's house and again in a hotel, alluring her of marriage. Then he threatened her of releasing the image and video clips of the rape scenes in pubic through internet.
OC Asaduzzaman of Fatullah police confirmed filing of the cases and said they were trying to arrest the accused and recover the recorded videos.
