Two members of the Bangladesh Chhatra League and 26 others unnamed people were sued yesterday on charges of vandalising a hotel of Minister of Housing and Public Works Ministry Engineer Mosharraf Hossain on Cox’s Bazar beach.
On Saturday, Md Monir Hosain, chief of human resources department of Saimon Beach Hotel, filed the case with Cox’s Bazar Sadar police station against Md Faisal, Md Ifat and 28 others.
Office-in-Charge of Cox’s Bazar Sadar police station Md Aslam Hossain told the Dhaka Tribune that Faisal and Ifat with their supporters wanted to forcibly check-in the hotel on the eve of 31st night. As the hotel authorities did not allow them to do so, they vandalised the hospital. The OC said they were trying to arrest the attackers.
