A Sexagenerian woman has been found dead at Meruakhali village under Biswambhapur upazila in Sunamganj.
The deceased is Laljan Bibi, 60, wife of late Imam Hossain of Meruakhali village.
Biswambhapur OC Muhammad Shahidur Rahman said: “On information from the locals, we recovered the body and sent it to Sunamganj Sadar Hospital on Wednesday morning.”
Dhonpur Union Chairman Rafiqul Islam Talukdar said: “This incident might have taken place over previous enmity.”
