A woman has been strangulated allegedly by her son at Munshipara of Dighilia in Khulna.
The victim was identified as Rashida Begum, 55.
Dighilia OC Rabiul Hossain confirmed the death to the Dhaka Tribune.
Rabiul said on information, police recovered the body from a large steel box of her residence and sent it to police custody.
Nur was absconding since the incident, the OC added.
